Founder & Product Developer · Patent-Pending
FlexTowel.
One towel. Three tools. Patent-pending.
Invented and launched a patent-pending, multifunctional household towel — one product doing the job of an oven mitt, pot holder, and trivet. Taken from concept to a manufacturing partner solo.
Context
A concept for a multifunctional household tool doesn't become a real product without someone owning quality, manufacturability, and versatility beyond a single use case. That someone had to source the factory, protect the idea, and ship the branding — from scratch.
Approach
Invented the FlexTowel — a durable, multifunctional household towel built to function as an oven mitt, pot holder, and trivet.
Owned prototyping end to end, iterating on material and form until the multi-use case actually held up.
Built the tech pack and sourced a manufacturing partner capable of producing at quality and scale.
Filed for patent protection to defend the invention as patent-pending.
Directed the branding so the product felt premium, not gimmicky.
Outcome
Patent-pending invention
Concept to production
Prototyping, tech pack, manufacturing partner, branding — all owned solo.
Produced and launched a patent-pending, versatile household product with applications across kitchens, dining spaces, and general household tasks — one thoughtful solution replacing three single-use tools.
Reflection
Program management isn't a corporate-only skill. The same discipline that ships a payments spec ships a physical product — scope it, protect it, find the partner, execute.
