Kudos.

Recognition, minted on Base.

A Base-native NFT launchpad for teams and creators — clean, minimal drops that turn recognition into something permanent instead of a Slack emoji that scrolls away.

Context

Team recognition was broken. So I built the launchpad that fixes it.

Internal recognition programs are stuck in the same two dead ends: an awkward Slack thread that scrolls out of memory in a day, or a gift card that says nothing about the actual milestone. Neither one lasts. Neither one is ownable. Creators have the mirror-image problem — no clean, low-friction way to mint and drop a moment on-chain without wrestling with wallets, gas, and listing fees built for traders, not fans.

Base changed the economics. Cheap, fast L2 mints made it possible to treat recognition — a shoutout, a milestone, a community drop — as something worth minting instead of something worth typing and forgetting. I saw the gap and built the product to close it.

Approach

Chose Base for the L2 speed and fee economics — recognition only works if minting is cheap enough to be casual.

Designed one launchpad for two audiences: teams running internal recognition and creators running public drops.

Built bulk airdrops that accept wallet addresses or email addresses, so non-crypto-native recipients aren't blocked at the door.

Priced it at 2.5% on successful mints only — zero upfront cost, zero listing fees, incentives aligned with the creator's success.

Shipped alone — concept, product design, and build, start to finish.

Reflection

Consumer web3 doesn't need more speculation — it needs products that make on-chain feel invisible. Kudos taught me that the winning UX for crypto is the one that never mentions crypto at all.
